We are accepting volunteers for all of our community groups. Read the descriptions below find out more about the opportunities available.

Architectural Control Board Committee

The primary role of the architectural control committee is to ensure that all homes, properties and common areas are following the Architectural Control Guidelines for Winter Hill Community Association. They will be working to streamline the checklist, as well as completing one walk around per year. To volunteer, please contact Gail Opitz:gailoptiz@aol.com

Communications Committee

NEW! The primary role of the communications group is to create and ensure that members of Winter Hill Community Association are aware of what is going on the the community. They will be working to create a monthly newsletter to keep community members informed of board meeting highlights, important announcements, details of the next board meetings and community events. Landscape Commitee

The primary role of the landscape committee is to ensure that the easements and landscaping are properly maintained in the community. They will be working to organize two community beautification days, continued oversight of the community landscaping and the improvement to the easement flooding. Tree Committee

The primary role of the tree committee is to research and determine who is responsible for the maintenance of specific trees - Winter Hill Community Association, The City of Falls Church or a homeowner. They will be working to take inventory of all trees in the community to determine who they belong to. There will also be a maintenance schedule create to ensure that all trees are properly maintained to avoid excessive damage due to weather.
